“Faces of Pain” is a visual storytelling project focused on people’s experiences of acute pain.
The overall goal of this storytelling project is to raise public awareness about acute pain and to generate greater understanding, empathy and compassion for people living with pain.
We expect that the stories will reveal the many experiences and consequences of living with acute pain.
We are seeking people who are:
age 18 years and older
experienced acute pain that lasted more than 2 weeks within the last 6-12 months
can recall the event and the experiences afterwards
reside in the United States
